1. Here is an outfit for the cooler temperatures in Autumn. It features the Native Youth Arctic parka jacket with a faux-fur hood with inner padding to keep you warm in the cold winds. Layer this on top of the Split Oxford Shirt which is made from soft cotton for a breathable layer while providing a smart casual approach. The jeans are from Wåven, UK based Scandinavian inspired new kids on the block, with this being their first season. We’ve opted for these acid wash black jeans to compliment the black jacket whilst offering some diversity in the denim wash. Don’t forget the black Bocoly belt from Diesel, which is crafted from soft-touch nubuck leather, to hold them up.

  2. Native Youth presents their latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2014 with a host of casual easy to wear pieces mixed with experimental modern twists like Japanese enzyme washed alpaca knitwear and acid washed jerseys. The collection remains true to the humble beginnings of this Manchester based brand who show no signs of lacking creativity and imagination for future creations.

  6. BBQ season is upon us and this week our outfit offering is a smart/casual ensemble for a warm evening meal with friends. We begin with the raw quartz denim in the ED-55 fit, a good all round straight fit with a slight hem taper, perfect for suiting the vast majority of all men. Because of the unwashed raw denim they’re easy to dress up and down, an essential for this outfit and a great alternative to smart trousers while still retaining a certain level of formality. Remus Uomo is our resident tailoring brand and this seasons collection of smart shirts embraces small casual detailing, like the geometric Toby shirt. A crisp white, cotton poplin shirt with an all-over grey geometric pattern; it’s a superb combination of smart/casual. If a spring wind chill sets in later on in the evening stick with Remus and opt for one of their summer knitwear options, like the marl effect cable-knit jumper. Lightweight and constructed from a cotton-blend for a breathable summer fabric, it’s a layering option that you can rest assure won’t leave you over heating. Or you could even skip the middle man altogether and wear the jumper sans shirt for an un-layered approach. Smart/casual footwear options don’t get much more uncomplicated than the Clarksdesert boot. In soft leather suede and a muted shade of Wolf brown, they compliment the tan leather belt from Diesel, which in turn helps break up the torso visually. Just don’t forget to drop the belt down a few notches once you’ve eaten your body weight in burgers…

  7. Brand new from Fred Perry this season is their limited edition range of Country Polo Shirts, a twist on the classic twin tipped style. Show your support and keep it sharp this summer, now available online and in-store at Esquire Clothing.

  8. Summer is officially here and we hope that you’re experiencing some exquisite weather just like us here in Scotland, so for this weeks outfit grid we’ve gone for the beach trip inspired route so you can make the most of the sun. Basing the outfit around the Grafton Bermuda shorts from Penfield,  with a slight herringbone pattern and made from a light cotton twill fabric it’s a breathable and airy option for your legs. On top opt for a simple plain crew neck t-shirt, like this one from Fred Perry; a soft cotton t-shirt with some minimal chest branding in the shape of the classic Laurel Wreath, perfect for when you want your shorts to do the talking. When the evening sets in and the coastal wind chill descends throw on the Kalama paisley sweatshirt from Penfield, a lovely mid-weight layer incorporating the classic tailoring pattern with the classic raglan sleeve sportswear sweat. On your feet we recommend a navy trainer to tie in the sweatshirt, like the Woodford plimsoll from Fred Perry, a staple footwear option which doesn’t break the bank.
